USS Jason Dunham Being Commissioned Today - Honor The Veterans

On this Veteran's Day, we honor everyone who has served and protected this great nation, including this gentleman Corporal Jason Dunham. Today, the USS Jason Dunham is being commissioned into service and is named after this soldier who was the first recipient of the Medal Of Honor for his service in Iraqi Freedom. He died after sacrificing his body in 2004 by jumping on a grenade thrown by insurgents. His dog tags and scrap metal from his helmet are welded on the mass of the ship so his spirit will always be with him. God Bless America!
