Running Out Of Places To Drill Huh? These Charts Would Say Otherwise

I'm like most Conservatives and free thinking Americans. I believe in developing new technology as long as it will help - wind, solar, etc. But we also have to be realistic. We need to build more nuclear power plants, expand coal mining and drill closer to the continental shelf in shallower waters so we can tap our natural resources. But the environmentalists and liberals are constantly blocking those resources so we constantly have to buy from foreign entities. We need to explore and become self reliant again.

Liberals want to control and restrict the sources of energy as a way to exercise primary control over the lives and economic well being of Americans. Even if they got their way with all current legislation for Cap and Tax it wouldn’t do one thing to help “save” us from "climate change".

Look at what the President had to say last night and look at the charts. This should explain everything. And these do not include our vast Coal resources and Natural Gas we have here either!

Obama: Oil is a finite resource. We consume more than 20 percent of the world’s oil, but have less than 2 percent of the world’s oil reserves. And that’s part of the reason oil companies are drilling a mile beneath the surface of the ocean — because we’re running out of places to drill on land and in shallow water.

We have PLENTY of oil!
