Political Jokes

President Obama flew to Kennedy Space Center in Florida Thursday and announced the termination of American manned space travel. The NASA space flight program is hereby grounded. He's punishing NASA for refusing to turn the Hubble Telescope on him.

President Obama has cut the space program and we will no longer be sending men to the moon. There has been one big achievement during his time in office. We did put an astronaut on “Dancing With the Stars.”

Nancy Pelosi showed up at a Palm Beach fundraiser Sunday where there were more security guards than guests. Unions are furious at her. If there are more people in the cast than in the audience Actors Equity says the performance should be canceled.

Arizona passed a bill Monday not allowing anyone on the state ballot who can't provide a U.S. birth certificate. It's time somebody took a stand. Right now you need more documentation to be a greeter at Wal-Mart than to be President of the United States.

Bill Clinton implied last week that Tea Party protesters could inspire another Oklahoma City-like domestic terrorism act. It makes him angry when members of the Tea Party talk about freedom. He hasn't had any freedom since camera phones came out.

Happy Earth Day to everyone. An estimated one billion people celebrate Earth Day. Al Gore, in particular, is wasted right now.

The U.S. Army is court-martialing an Army doctor who won't deploy to Afghanistan because he doubts Obama's citizenship. The White House is ready with talking points. Last week Democrats said Ronald Reagan also tried to reduce the U.S. nuclear stockpile, and next week they'll be saying that George Washington was also born a British subject.

Violent Protests In Arizona

Via Flopping Aces

Where is Bill Clinton?

This ain’t no Tea Party!

Really, where is Bill Clinton? Wasn’t he lecturing us just a week ago that protests could lead to violence? Where are all the media talking heads who echoed Clinton’s absurd attempt to link the Tea Partiers to violence? Yet, here’s a riot started by protesters against the new law in Arizona to toughen up enforcement on illegal immigration in Phoenix on April 23. Bottles were hurled at police and threats of violence that make even the rowdiest Tea Party look like a church picnic.

You’ll see the bottles thrown here, striking police officers who try to usher a lone anti-illegal immigration protester from the scene for his own safety:

The scene from overhead clearly shows a fusillade of bottles being thrown at the Police:

Once again, violent agitators of the left take to the streets breaking our laws and the silence from Democrats who condemn peaceful protests by Tea Partiers is stunning!

Obama Playing The Race Card Again. Hopes To "Reconnect" And Have A 2010 Upset

I also think that the president forgot that a big majority of white people also voted for him as well. Where are they mentioned in that speech in the video below about "reconnecting" with the people who got him and other party members in 2008 elections. I want to look around and know that the most powerful man in the world has gotten beyond the ridiculous issue of race and is focused on doing what is right.

Via: Reaganite Republican

Barack Obama shamefully employed the race-card again as he put out a call-to-arms to "...African-Americans, Latinos, and Women" today in a DNC video seeking to unify the coalition that put him in power- but has not really shown up for any elections since.

In what amounts to the launching of a six-month political war -one we all knew was coming- this was put in unusually frank demographic/racial terms- a divisive, cynical, and desperate maneuver from the serial liar who campaigned as a "post-racial" unifier in 2008- what a joke.

And to start on this note right from day one- is this really necessary, Mr. President? Didn't you learn anything at your Beer Summit, you poser?

Geithner "Never Had A Real Job".

Sweet. No wonder our financial system sucks and we're in a mountain of debt. Just one more ingredient to the mix of it all.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is haunted by the misperception that he used to work on Wall Street.

"I find that the charge that -- the myth that I worked in Wall Street all my life, somewhat amusing," Geithner said on CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS." "But it is part of a narrative that hardened. People came to view the judgments we were making through the prism of a myth...it's actually very damaging. It's completely false, of course, and it, you know, should have been corrected a long time ago."

Geithner has worked in government his whole life. Before becoming Treasury secretary, he was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which is a government job but is closely associated with Wall Street. The New York Fed president is selected by a board of private sector bankers and other private sector officials but has to be approved by the Federal Reserve Board in Washington. Almost all of the New York Fed's profits get turned over to the u.S. government.

"What I say is the I never had a real job," Geithner jokes

About The New Arizona Immigration Bill

I know there will be more discussions all across this country and people all have different views and meanings of this and some people are going to try and use the race card to get their point or opinion across. I say read the bill, the story(s) that are out there and make your own judgment.

I've seen on Facebook recently that people are forming and sending out group invitations to join against the new Arizona bill that allows police to ask people that are suspected illegal immigrants to show their identification otherwise face arrest and deportation. Of course people when making these groups on the social network are adding the words "racist" in it, etc etc. Everyone thinks this is about race or are trying to portray it as such. To me, not the case. I think of this bill as more of a national security issue.

Link to Bill 1070

I used to live in Arizona and they have always had the reputation of being tough on immigration and basically the only border state with Mexico that seems to take illegal immigration seriously. Maricopa County and Sheriff Joe don;t have their reputations in the country for nothing when it comes to this and crime in general.

I've mentioned to some people that for a person being asked for identification illegal or not, can be just the same as getting pulled over and a cop asking you for your license and registration. It is done to prove that it is you and that there are no crimes or warrants out for you. Some would say that you got pulled over because you've done something wrong. Not true. I've been pulled over for not doing anything wrong and was actually accused of looking like a suspected robber that the county sheriff's were looking for. I was detained for over a half hour by 2 deputies and I had to tell them what I was doing up to that moment and I even handed over my cell phone to show my recent call log to prove those moments. One deputy even told me, "I'm pretty sure you're not the guy, but we just need to make sure". And actually in fact, they caught the person about 20 minutes earlier before pulling me over. Plus cops have been known to pull people over because they were bored or their department had a "quota". I know this because I have family and a couple of old high school friends that are in law enforcement.

Let me get to the good stuff...

Link

Now, this bill says it "would make Arizona the only state to criminalize the presence of illegal immigrants through an expansion of it's trespassing law." Obama said the "recent efforts in Arizona...threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans..." What fairness? What is fair for the legal residents of Arizona who can no longer sell their property because illegals stream over their land daily, often leaving behind drug paraphernalia and trash, including needles? What is fair about lives being threatened, and sometimes snuffed out? What "basic fairness" is the President speaking of? It surely is not fairness to legal residents. If there were federal concern about legal residents, we would not have illegal aliens flooding across the border.

What about an Arizona man, Roger Barnett, (who I wrote about on my blog when I talked about immigration) who after 10 years of illegals using his ranch as a entry point, began rounding up the illegals and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol. They destroyed his property, broke into his home and killed his cattle. Sixteen illegals sued him for $32 million dollars for violating their "civil rights". They're illegals! He was ordered to pay the illegals $77,000.00. The case is on appeal, and in essence Barnett is winning, but it has been a long, expensive and emotional road.

We have the right to face our accusers in court. Well, these 16 accusers used pseudonyms in the lawsuit out of "fear of adverse action based on immigration status." Absurd.

This bill, to me, is more about national security and the President is just using it to push for his Amnesty bill. People always want to use race and most Democrats need race in order win their elections. I wrote about that as well on my blog and I posted some links at the end of this story to prove that Republicans have always been on the right side of trying to protect and free race and rights while Democrats use race as a way of fear and to get votes which is completely wrong. I thought we were all passed this?

What is also funny is that the President thinks it's "unfair" for Illegal Aliens to Show ID but he fully supports the soon to be forced National Biometric ID in his Immigration Plan.

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.
The ID card plan is one of several steps advocates of an immigration overhaul are taking to address concerns that have defeated similar bills in the past.

So it's okay for the Federal Government to intrude on rights the American people have to privacy granted in the Constitution, but don't you even dare try to step on those imaginary rights of illegal aliens who cross our borders, vandalize property, increase gang violence, drug trafficking, kill Americans, and suck off the welfare and education system.

And it's crazy how when the immigration debate comes up, the only people who protest it are the illegals. As I have said before, if you are an illegal immigrant, you have no rights. Until you get citizenship, you can't complain.

I'm all for people making a better life for themselves, we are the greatest country, but do it the right way.

Flashback Friday!! - Alice Cooper Edition

Joke Time

A business man got on an elevator. When he entered, there was a blonde already inside who greeted him with a bright, "T-G-I-F."

He smiled at her and replied, "S-H-I-T."

She looked puzzled and repeated, "T-G-I-F," more slowly.

He again answered, "S-H-I-T."

The blonde was trying to keep it friendly, so she smiled her biggest smile, and said as sweetly as possibly, "T-G-I-F."

The man smiled back to her and once again, "S-H-I-T."

The exasperated blonde finally decided to explain.

'T-G-I-F' means 'Thank Goodness It's Friday.' Get it, duuhhh?"

The man answered, "'S-H-I-T' means 'Sorry, Honey, It's Thursday.'"

A Much Needed Rant

This is response to the previous post below.

The President really seems to hates America. The more and more I read stories and do this blog, that is becoming more and more appearant. Apologizing to the world for our so called "arrogance", bowing 4 times now to foreign leaders while meeting them, ordering flags to be taken down in Haiti during the earthquake relief effort because he didn't want us to look like "occupiers", refusing to sing or put his hand over his heart during national anthems, complete government takeovers of every institution, reducing our arsenal and having us check with the IAEA if we are attacked before returning fire, not taking the Christmas day attempted bombings and other terrorist threats seriously, caring more about his golf game them responding to situations, wanting to protect and grant amnesty to illegals, not proving he is a natural citizen, hanging out and being mentored by radical leftists like Bill Ayers, bypassing the Constitution and it's laws to have bills passed (yet if a Republican did that...), taxing us more and more, racking up huge amounts of future debt, making us more and more like a European Socialist-style government, not to mention he and his other leading Democratic cronies blasting Bush on policies (Iraq and other things), yet now that those policies were working before Obama took office, he's trying to take credit for those it, not to mention is arrogance towards McCain and others on live t.v. during the so called health care summit, not only that, foreign leaders who once adored him because he wasn't Bush, are now not speaking to him or even taking him seriously such as Iran's president, and I could go on. He's done more in 2 years to ruin this county than any other President in history. Yes, more than Bush (for you hating libs) and Carter.

Obama Blasts Arizona Illegal Immigration Effort

I applaud my former state of Arizona for this bill and also the bill earlier submitted and passed that requires candidates to run on their states ballot to require proof of citizenship (birth certificate - Obama "birther" issue). Arizona seems to be the only state who cares about protecting their people and cracking down on illegal immigrants. What it sounds like again is Obama is protecting illegals and is giving them civil rights.

Obama just now sharply condemned the controversial anti-illegal immigration effort in Arizona, calling it “misguided” and “irresponsible” — and even said his administration could insert itself into the fight if civil rights are found to be violated.

This could cause the issue to heat up to full boil on the national level, with untold consequences for the midterm elections.

The effort in Arizona would require anyone suspected of being in the country illegally to produce “an alien registration document” or other proof of citizenship. The Governor of Arizona is expected to decide within days how to act on the legislation — and Obama today pushed the issue hard.

“Our failure to act responsibly at the Federal level will only open the door to irresponsibility by others,” Obama said. “That includes for example the recent efforts in Arizona, which threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans, as well as the trust between police and their communities that is so crucial to keeping us safe.”

Obama added that his administration could join the fight. “I’ve instructed members of my administration to closely monitor the situation and examine the civil rights and other implications of this legislation,” he said, adding that it was “misguided.”

The move comes amid signs that Dem leaders are moving forward more rapidly than expected with immigration reform, upending the political calculus of both parties heading into the midterms. By moving forward, Dems risk exacerbating the anger of the Tea Party brigade and alienating white swing voters, but they also energize a key portion of their base. The move also forces Republicans to choose between angering the Tea Partiers and alienating Latinos.

Obama has now pushed the Arizona issue to the front burner, perhaps forcing a more serious national conversation over it. Interesting.

SEC Execs Surfed For Porn During Economic Collapse

I remember Hannity showing a piece on this a couple of months ago, but I guess everyone else waited until the full report was done before reporting on it. This report is kind of disturbing. Our tax dollars used to surf porn instead of catching people who are ripping off the financial system and regulating the system. Government at it's best under Bush and especially Obama's watch. And the craziest thing is, none of these people got fired. At my previous employment, they had filters on the internet. I was lucky half the time to look at the weather on my computer and I had to use the net for documents and public records because I was in title. At most "real" jobs, people would be fired without a hesitance notice if they did this that many times. Come on people, get with the program.

On a day when President Obama argued for more government regulation over the financial industry, a new government report reveals that some high-level regulators have spent more time looking at porn than policing Wall Street.

The Securities and Exchange Commission is supposed to be the sheriff of the financial industry, looking for financial crimes like Bernard Madoff's Ponzi scheme. But the new report, obtained by ABC News, says senior employees of the SEC spent hours on the commission's computers looking at sites like naughty.com, skankwire, youporn, and others.

Here's some highlights:

* The SEC's inspector general conducted 33 probes of employees looking at explicit images in the past five years, according to a memo. In that memo, 31 of those probes occurred in the 2 1/2 years since the financial system teetered and nearly crashed.

* A senior attorney at the SEC's Washington headquarters spent up to eight hours a day looking at and downloading pornography. When he ran out of hard drive space, he burned the files to CDs or DVDs, which he kept in boxes around his office. He agreed to resign, an earlier watchdog report said.

* An accountant was blocked more than 16,000 times in a month from visiting websites classified as "Sex" or "Pornography." Yet he still managed to amass a collection of "very graphic" material on his hard drive by using Google images to bypass the SEC's internal filter, according to an earlier report from the inspector general. The accountant refused to testify in his defense, and received a 14-day suspension.

* Seventeen of the employees were "at a senior level," earning salaries of up to $222,418.

* The number of cases jumped from two in 2007 to 16 in 2008. The cracks in the financial system emerged in mid-2007 and spread into full-blown panic by the fall of 2008.

South Park Episode Updated

The creators of South Park say Comedy Central removed a speech about “intimidation and fear” from last nights episode after a Muslim group/website threatened to kill them. The group says South Park insulted their prophet by depicting him in a bear costume.

I like the way that Comedy Central execs instantly surrendered at the first hint of danger. In case you didn’t see last nights episode, what Comedy Central bleeped out were the words “Prophet Muhammad”. So that's another form of censorship in this country. The small percentage of Atheists want the word "God" stricken from everything in this country and there are lawsuits everyday about separation of "church and state" and we seem to be o.k. with that, but yet we are protecting a religion that attacked us (jihad) in the name of their God and we seem to be bowing at their every need lately because we don't want to look mean/insensitive or look like we are at war with their religion.

Read more here from Yahoo!

Update: Matt and Trey respond to the censorship stew.

"In the 14 years we've been doing South Park we have never done a show that we couldn't stand behind. We delivered our version of the show to Comedy Central and they made a determination to alter the episode. It wasn't some meta-joke on our part. Comedy Central added the bleeps. In fact, Kyle's customary final speech was about intimidation and fear. It didn't mention Muhammad at all but it got bleeped too. We'll be back next week with a whole new show about something completely different and we'll see what happens to it."

Health Care Overhaul Will Increase The Nation's Health Care Tab Instead Of Bringing Costs Down

Gee I didn't see this coming (sarcasm). When will people start actually paying attention to the bull crap he is putting into action and that this wasteful congress is passing onto the American people?? We don't have the money to pay for this now, and according to these independent numbers, we won't have it in the future.

As I have said before, I want to have insurance, especially since I don't have it now, but if I can't afford it, don't want it, or even be fined until I get it, have my income tax refund held up until I do get it, or face imprisonment for not having it, I don't want it and I refuse to even endorse the idea of it. If my tax dollars are paying for the health care, why do I still have to pay for it? Shouldn't it be "free"? Someone please explain to me why it won't be free? Taxes are paying for it...

AP: President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law will increase the nation's health care tab instead of bringing costs down, government economic forecasters concluded Thursday in a sobering assessment of the sweeping legislation.

And

But the analysis also found that the law falls short of the president's twin goal of controlling runaway costs, raising projected spending by about 1 percent over 10 years. That increase could get bigger, however, since the report also warned that Medicare cuts in the law may be unrealistic and unsustainable, forcing lawmakers to roll them back.

The mixed verdict for Obama's signature issue is the first comprehensive look by neutral experts.

And

The U.S. spends $2.5 trillion a year on health care, far more per person than any other developed nation, and for results that aren't clearly better when compared to more frugal countries. At the outset of the health care debate last year, Obama held out the hope that by bending the cost curve down, the U.S. could cover all its citizens for about what the nation would spend absent any reforms. The report found that the president's law missed the mark, although not by much. The overhaul will increase national health care spending by $311 billion from 2010-2019, or nine-tenths of 1 percent. To put that in perspective, total health care spending during the decade is estimated to surpass $35 trillion.

Democrats Look To Eliminate Filibuster Rule

My how things change when your party is in power; a report states that Democrats may be seeking to eliminate the filibuster rule from the Senate so they can push through some more of their more radical agenda. Let’s recall what some prominent Democrats have said about the filibuster rule when the GOP was in control:

Barack Obama

What [The American People] do not expect is for one party, be it Republican or Democrat, to change the rules in the middle of the game so they can make all decisions while the other party is told to sit down and keep quiet.

Like all Obama promises and statements, this comes with an expiration date.

Joe Biden

I pray to God that when the Democrats take back control, we don’t make the kind of naked power grab you are doing

There are several other quotes by Democrats who say essentially the same thing.

The big question here is whether the Democrats can or should do this. From a legal viewpoint Senate rules require 2/3 vote to change any Senate rules. However, the Senate can change existing procedures that are deemed unconstitutional by 50 senators and if the President of the Senate (Joe Biden) agree. Would the courts jump in to stop the Democrats if they decided to proceed with this farce? Doubtful, there is a long standing doctrine called the Political Question Doctrine which basically states that the SCOTUS will not rule on political issues like rule disputes in other branches of the government.

The more important question is should the Democrats do this? Obviously if you are a Republican they shouldn’t, but if you are a Democrat you should probably be against this too, and here’s why. At some point the Republicans will control the Senate again. If you eliminate the filibuster rule, guess how many votes it would take to overturn all of Obamacare? Yep, 51. While they were at it they could eliminate the IRS, the Department of Education and Social Security, sounds like a good idea to me. Anyone for a game of Global thermonuclear war?

Joke Time!

Doctor Dave had slept with one of his patients and felt guilty all day long. No matter how much he tried to forget about it, he just couldn't. The guilt and sense of betrayal was overwhelming. But every once in a while he'd hear an internal, reassuring voice in his head that said:

"Dave, don't worry about it. You aren't the first medical practitioner to sleep with one of their patients, and you won't be the last. And you're single. Just let it go, Dave."

But invariably another voice in his head would bring him back to reality, whispering:

"Dave... Dave... Dave, you sick bastard. You're a vet."

Threats Made Against South Park Creators For Their Depiction Of Muhammad

The creators of South Park have been ripping on everyone, groups and religions for years. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not. It's how you take it or what your sense of humor is. Like it or not, freedom of speech includes satire of all major religions. But doing a piece on the prophet "Muhammad" prompted death threats from a Muslim website/group and even caused the creators of censoring that character. In the article, they also said that it wasn't a "threat" but would be a likely outcome. WTF?! This group even posted where the creators of the show lives to prove that they were willing to go through with the threat if the show aired.

Note to everyone, just like any other thing on t.v. or radio or any other piece of media: If South Park offends you, too bad. The creators don’t give a shit. This is how they make their income and under the first amendment, they have that right. Push the button on your remote, click off your browser, get off your lazy ass and go watch something else and shut your mouth. Besides, I thought Islam was a "peaceful" religion. Once again they prove me wrong.

Click on the link below to Fox News to see the "uncensored" picture of what the outrage was about.

Fox News: A radical Islamic website is warning the creators of “South Park” that they could face violent retribution for depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode broadcast on Comedy Central last week.

RevolutionMuslim.com posted the warning following the 200th episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s “South Park,” which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit. The Web posting also included a graphic photo of Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a documentary on violence against Muslim women.

“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show,” the posting reads. “This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”
Reaching by phone early Tuesday, Abu Talhah al Amrikee, the author of the post, said he wrote the entry to “raise awareness.” He said the grisly photograph of van Gogh was meant to “explain the severity” of what Parker and Stone did by mocking Muhammad.
“It’s not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome,” al Amrikee said, referring to the possibility that Parker and Stone could be murdered for mocking Muhammad.

The Campain To Silence The Awakening America

A perfect rant from America! Oh How We'll Miss You!

It's been subtlely introduced into our consciuosness. It's been identified by talk radio and other conservative news/opinion outlet hosts, and is now being discussed openly on those stations. And now Rush Limbaugh has called them out. I'm talking about the progressive political machine trying to paint patriotic Americans as violence-hungry seditionists, bent on destroying the government. The progressives haven't actually called us that, but through their comments they have intimated that we are prone to that tact. In fact, the name Timothy McVie is being thrown around by Bill Clinton like confetti!

Don't let them brow beat any of us into thinking there is something wrong with us. Don't let them make any of us believe that there is something "wrong" or "unpatriotic" about disagreeing with government policy - especially one that is taking us away from our roots and down the primrose path to socialism. It is the very kernel of patriotism! In fact, George Washington himself told us not to trust our government. There is nothing wrong with that. If the government isn't doing anything wrong, dishonorable, or underhanded, they will ahve no problem with it either. So, seeing that the government obviously DOES have a problem with it, what are they really trying to hide? What are they really worried about?

Stay strong! Speak loudly! Act honorably! But protect the Constitution and the American Republic with every tool at your disposal. If that be civil discourse or civil disobedience, so be it. This country is still We The People! If We The People don't like what's going on in OUR government, we have the right to stop it. We have the right to change the people who callously claim to represent us, but in reality represent only their own interests - getting re-elected. So take your responsibility to guard the Republic seriously, and be prepared to stand against the government that doesn't represent the people any longer. Vote your beliefs in November. Get ALL your friends and families involved and voting as well. Get them informed on the issues. There is no bigger battle we face, than the one coming on election day in November. So arm yourselves with knowledge. Vote out every progressive in your midsts. And keep voting them out until they can do us no more harm.

Timothy McVeigh and Bill Ayers; So You Think You Can Bomb

Awesome piece from Flopping Aces

As the anniversary of the Oklahoma bombing approached, liberals fell over themselves to suggest that Tea Party protests could lead to another McVeigh type incident. CBS News made the argument, as did Rachel Maddow and even Bill Clinton. Joe Klein said that the dissent which was once patriotic when Democrats dissented now implies that dissent is seditious. What lefties must hate is that all the real violence has originated from the left, not the right.

Kathleen Parker, hilariously called a “conservative columnist” by the doddering old fool Bob Schieffer, said that “this heated rhetoric and some of these words…that are pretty loaded, ‘reload,’ ‘targeting’…there’s a danger there.” Schieffer in turn said “some of this really nasty rhetoric that shows up on the Internet..” Bill Clinton said to “watch your words” and that “words have consequences as much as actions do.” John Heilemann of New York magazine said “Joe’s (Klein) right and I’ll name another person, I’ll name Rush Limbaugh who uses this phrase constantly and talks about the Obama administration as a regime. That phrase which has connotations of tyranny.” Had Heileman taken two seconds before he made himself look like an idiot he would have found out what Glenn Beck found- that Bush’s administration had been referred to as a “regime” 6500 times.

You have to wonder where all this concern, all this indignation, all this horsecrap was a few years ago. If you Google “Kill Bush” you get 5,720,000 hits. Liberals are the epitome of hypocrisy, stinking, lousy hypocrisy at that.

Civic virtue can include harsh criticism, protest, even civil disobedience. But not violence or its advocacy,” lectured Bill Clinton. Sounds great. Now for the reality. Barack Obama said “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” Obama also encouraged his supporters to approach the opposition and “get in their face.” White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina said “If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard.

So now when the harsh words fall upon a Democrat it’s a terrible thing, but when uttered by a Democrat, it doesn’t matter. But I wrote all that to bring you to this. Timothy McVeigh had nothing in common with Tea Partiers. Tea Partiers protest a particular party and its oppressive and socialist predilections. McVeigh was angered by the events of Ruby Ridge and then Waco. He was angry at the government. He was anti-government, not anti-Democrat or anti-Republican. Now take a second and think back about whom else was anti-government. Think back to another person and group who bombed government buildings and killed Americans. Timothy McVeigh’s philosophical predecessor was none other than Bill Ayers. Both hated the government. Both struck at the government. McVeigh showed no remorse for his bombing of the Murrah building. ”I don’t regret setting bombs,” said Bill Ayers. The actions of both resulted in the deaths of innocents. They have much in common.

There is one difference between Ayers and McVeigh, though. Bill Ayers is a mentor of Barack Obama.

Let Flopping Aces pepper this with the yet another article. And that would be Obama’s Homeland Security Chief, Janet Napolitano’s, continued assault. This while she simultaneously attempts to back peddle from her assertations that domestic violence by the “anti-government” movements continues to be the prime concern of this clueless admin.

A day after she was in Oklahoma City to commemorate 15 years since the deadly bombing there, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Tuesday expressed concern that groups inside the United States, including anti-government groups, could be seeking to launch violent attacks.

“The question is not ideology,” she told Fox News in a wide-ranging and lengthy interview. “We’ve always had groups on all sides that have held beliefs that are very strong and express them very vociferously.”

Instead, the issue is “the turn to violence,” according to Napolitano, who, as U.S. Attorney for Arizona at the time, helped lead part of the federal investigation into the Oklahoma City bombing.

“Whenever you go to Oklahoma City, you need to go to the memorial, and you need to walk through that museum,” she said Tuesday in a somber tone. “That will teach you the difference between those who are merely expressing themselves — loudly and with anger — and the violence that we must seek to prevent.”

But the recent militia-related arrests and FBI investigation have not changed Napolitano’s views on the assessment, as she continued to distance herself from it on Tuesday.

She bristled at even the term “right-wing,” saying it was something she didn’t want to use.

When read some less-controversial lines from the assessment, Napolitano said she agrees that “the threat posed by lone wolves and small terror cells is more pronounced than in past years,” and that “the current economic and political climate has some similarities to the [early] 1990s,” which led to the Oklahoma City bombing.

She also said she agrees “in part” with the line saying, “The economic downturn and the election of the first African-American president present unique drivers for right-wing radicalization and recruitment.”

After all, she said, “Those are things that we in law enforcement are dealing with all the time.”

Napolitano knows very well that her choice of political ideology and focus on the opposite side of the aisle last year was a major faux pas. But even today, she can’t find it in her heart to include her own.

And this is best exampled by genuine culmination in “violence” by those who physically assaulted Gov Bobby Jindal’s assistant and boyfriend April 9th.

They’ve accused the tea party types of racism and simmering violence. They’ve ignored the physical vandalism of the Harry Reid supporters egging tea party buses. Fine… that isn’t tantamount to “violence” in Napolitano’s eyes.

But the beating of conservative governor’s assistants? How about the dismissal of charges against the Black Panthers for voter intimidation which is clearly violation of law? Both of these rise to the very accusations of Napolitano.

But it just so happens the perps aren’t of the right political stripes….. so let’s just ignore it.

And they wonder why a very all-American “anti-government” sentiment is a’rising??

Holy Cow! Mexican Drug War Deaths Now Outnumber US Losses In Iraq 5-to-1

I want to thank The Reaganite Republican site for this awesome and eye opening article. I've heard and known about growing violence along the Texas border near El Paso, put it appears to spreading even further. Plus the fact that Napolitano seems to be turning the other cheek when it comes to these drug cartels and growing violence along the border. This is a great example why we need military or better equipped border agents, a fence, stronger immigration policies and techniques and especially NO amnesty.

A lot of Americans don't grasp the full magnitude of the gruesome omni-lateral Mexican drug war right on our doorstep, though recent sensational killings near resort areas and kidnapping of tourists have begun to bring the reality.

Since brave and principled Mexican President Felippe Calderone declared war on the vicious cartels that have a choke-hold on his country in 2007, fatalities have steadily mounted- officially at 10,000 dead (US fatalities in Iraq cca 4400). But the AP and LA Times now report confidential Mexican government figures of over 22,000 dead... and that's just three years... we've been in Iraq for seven.

The government has deployed 45,000 Mexican Army troops and 5,000 Federales in an attempt to take the fight to the enemy in the provinces as the war continues to spread- this compares to 98,000 US troops currently in Iraq. And if you found Iraqi factions complex, and the methods savage...

With fronts multiplying and violence coming to even heavily-defended resort areas and the formerly peaceful Morelos state, bodies are showing-up hung from overpasses, chopped up and mixed-together in plastic garbage bags, or simply in piles of corpses, piles of heads, or piles of headless corpses next to the road with a note attached to taunt their rivals. Every time the Mexican Army captures a major drug lord, an all-out inter-and/or-intra cartel war ensues in the battle to inherit the turf... with predictably ghastly results. Drug cartels are also increasingly brazen in direct attacks on the Mexican Army, recently employing armored cars and grenade launchers in concert with sophisticated tactics of maneuver.

Things look to be getting a lot worse down there before the corner is turned... if ever. More today at LA Times online. Bungalow Bill's got a good point about how you don't hear much re. the gravity of the situation at and south of the border in the midst of Obama's immigration reform push -here-

President Barack Obama: Value Added Tax (VAT) A "Novel" Idea For The United States

The full quote is scary. Tax Tax Tax, that's all this guy seems to be about.

Obama Refuses To Give Back Goldman Sachs Donation Money

This makes perfect sense because now the SEC has to look busy and is investigating 19 banks including Goldman Sachs. But it's also funny that the SEC's testimony contradicts it's own case against Goldman. You can read more of that story and watch the video here on CNBC. GS is all for financial reform because they’ll benefit from it since they’re in bed with the government. Always remember people, there is a double standard when it comes to politics. If this was "W" or a prominent Republican, there would be a HUGE outrage, Dems would want the donations returned and/or have that person resign. Also if you read the end of this post, Obama blasts Wall Street then asks for it's help.

Via Bloomberg: President Barack Obama doesn’t plan at this time to give back almost $1 million in campaign contributions from employees of Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

“We make these decisions on a case-by-case basis, and in this case we have not accepted contributions from specific individuals accused of wrongdoing, nor have we advocated for positions that big Wall Street banks generally favor,” Hari Sevugan, a Democratic National Committee spokesman, said in a statement.

Obama, 48, received the contributions in 2007 and 2008 for his White House bid.

Donations from the bank’s employees have become an issue for political candidates from both parties after the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a fraud lawsuit April 16 against Goldman Sachs.

Obama was asked about the contributions in an interview yesterday with CNBC.

“I got a lot of money from a lot of people,” he said. “And the vast majority of the money I got was from small donors all across the country.”

Obama said his desire to change Wall Street rules was clear throughout the campaign.

“Anybody who gave me money during the course of my campaign knew that I was on record, again in 2007 and 2008, pushing very strongly that we needed to reform how Wall Street did business,” he said.

Also from today - Yahoo!/AP: President Barack Obama rebuked Wall Street for risky practices Thursday even as he sought its leaders' help for "updated, commonsense" banking regulations to head off any new financial crisis.

"That makes for a good sound bite, but it's not factually accurate. It is not true," Obama said to scattered applause. "In fact, the system as it stands — the system as it stands is what led to a series of massive, costly taxpayer bailouts." He said the overhaul legislation would put a stop to such bailouts.

Videos Showing The President's Dicontent With Our Flag

As some people may remember, I wrote a post over a month ago in conjunction with a post and cartoon from Hope N Change about how Obama ordered all flags in Haiti to removed because he didn't want us to look like "occupiers".

The many nations helping Haiti recover from the devastating earthquake that struck there have set up their own military compounds and fly their flags at the entrances.

France’s tricolor, Britain’s Union Jack and even Croatia’s coat of arms flap in the breeze.

But the country whose contributions dwarf the rest of the world’s — the United States — has no flag at its main installation near the Port-au-Prince airport.

Here's Some videos showing Obama's discontent with our flag, national anthem, and well, just us in general:

Don't Mock Keith Olberman Media People, It Could Get You Fired

This guy used to be funny when he was on Sports Center back in the day, now I can't even stand him. It is pathetic that Olberman had to cry like a little bitch to some t.v. executive and had this guy removed. So it's ok to rip everyday Americans and hate on Republicans and Tea Partiers and decry their efforts, but your name or image gets dropped in a way you don't like, and it becomes an outrage. Give me a freakin break.

NY Times: A weeklong anchoring stint on MSNBC by Donny Deutsch ended abruptly on Wednesday, and four people briefed on the decision said the cancellation stemmed from an unflattering mention of that channel’s No. 1 anchor, Keith Olbermann, a day earlier.

Mr. Deutsch had labeled his hour on MSNBC “America the Angry,” and Mr. Olbermann was shown briefly in a series of clips of media figures during a segment that pondered what role the media plays in fomenting the public’s anger. The four people briefed on MSNBC’s decision said Mr. Olbermann’s anger about the segment prompted the cancellation of the weeklong “America the Angry” series...

MSNBC shouldn't have had to explain themselves, everyone knows the reason (they just couldn't say it) and it looks like Keith is the darling of the network.

Joke Time!

A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After mass he asked the monsignor how he had done. The monsignor replied, "When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip."

The next Sunday finally arrived he took the monsignor’s advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a sip, and then another sip, and then another again. He proceeded to talk up a storm. Upon his return to his office after the mass, he found the following note on the door

1. Sip the vodka, don’t gulp.
2. There are 10 commandments, not 12.

Good Story I Found About The Economy Plus 80% Americans Don't Trust The Government

Awesome story from The Economic Collapse

Back during Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign, "It's the economy, stupid" was a phrase that Clinton campaign officials used to keep the focus on the troubled U.S. economy. The truth is that Americans as a whole care about very few things more than their own economic well being, and by keeping the debate focused on economic issues, Clinton was able to defeat George H. W. Bush. Nearly 20 years later, that slogan is as true today as it ever has been. The American people care dearly about their own wallets and bank accounts. With the economy tanking badly and with unemployment at very high levels, dissatisfaction with the U.S. government is at record highs. In fact, acccording to a newly released poll byPew Research Center, just 22% of Americans believe that they can trust the government in Washington almost always or most of the time. Nearly half of the respondents said that the government has a negative effect on their daily lives. Only 25% of those responding expressed a favorable opinion of Congress, which was the lowest favorable rating for Congress in a quarter century of Pew Research Center surveys.

So why are the American people so angry and frustrated with their government?

It's the economy, stupid.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs and their homes, and millions more Americans are on the verge of losing their jobs and homes.

There are approximately 5.5 unemployed Americans for every job opening. RealtyTrac projects that there will be 4.5 million home foreclosures in 2010. The economic nightmare just keeps going from bad to worse.

The result is a massive horde of pissed off American voters.

As long as Americans are fat and happy and their wallets are full, most of them really could care less how involved the government is in their lives. But when things go bad economically, all of a sudden the government becomes a major annoyance.

And this is not a Republican v. Democrat thing either. The truth is that both parties have been radically expanding the size of the U.S. government for decades. Both parties have been spending taxpayer money like there is no tomorrow. Both parties have mortgaged the future of America to please their constituents. Now average Americans from both parties are alarmed at how large the government has become and how badly it is screwing things up. Just consider the following quote from USAToday.com....

"The government's been lying to people for years. Politicians make promises to get elected, and when they get elected, they don't follow through," says Cindy Wanto, 57, a registered Democrat from Pennsylvania who joined several thousand for a rally in Washington on April 15 — the tax filing deadline. "There's too much government in my business. It was a problem before Obama, but he's certainly not helping fix it."

If he wants to get re-elected, the best thing that Barack Obama could do to get votes would be to get the U.S. government to spend as much money as humanly possible in a last ditch attempt to stimulate the U.S. economy with a flood of paper money. That might work just long enough to get re-elected and buy himself another four years in the White House. Of course that strategy would also likely create hyperinflation and would make the long-term financial problems of the U.S. government far, far worse.

But unless the American people start feeling a lot better about the economy, they are not going to look too kindly on anyone who is currently holding office either in 2010 or in 2012.

Meanwhile, playing politics is more profitable than it ever has been.

Barack Obama and his wife Michelle raked in a cool 5.5 million dollars in 2009.

Sarah Palin has earned approximately 12 million dollars since last July.

According to Forbes magazine, Glenn Beck made 32 million dollars in the 12 months ending March 1st.

Politicians may not be very popular these days, but it sure is a profitable racket if you can get into the club.

Republicans make a ton of money convincing millions of Americans that the Democrats are the cause of all the problems that they are experiencing. Democrats make a ton of money convincing millions of Americans that that Republicans are the cause of all the problems that they are experiencing. Meanwhile, both parties continue to pile up the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world and continue to sell out the future of our children and our grandchildren.

Neither party seems interested in addressing the root causes of our national financial nightmare. Instead, politicians from both parties seem to think that they can keep making all kinds of promises to get elected and then never delivering on them.

Well, the American people are starting to wake up to all of this nonsense. Tens of millions of Americans are experiencing extreme financial pain and they are looking for answers.

Unfortunately, the U.S. economy is going to get a whole lot worse, and very few of the politicians in Washington have the guts to tell the American people the truth.

Jon Stewart To Fox News And Bernie Goldberg - Go F Yourselves

A good version and video on Breitbart TV

Via: News Busters

Comedian Jon Stewart Tuesday responded to Bernie Goldberg's criticism of "The Daily Show" host by performing a Gospel tune with the lyrics "Go f--k yourselves."

As a little background, Stewart last week went after Fox News and Goldberg ending the segment, "I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Go f--k yourselves."

This prompted a response from Goldberg on Monday's "O'Reilly Factor" wherein he accused Stewart of being "Jay Leno with a much smaller audience, but you get to say the f-bomb."

After a lengthy segment Tuesday addressing Goldberg's admonition -- which included the comedian actually admitting that there is liberal bias in the media!!! -- Stewart led a choir in vulgarity-laden song (video follows with partial transcript and commentary, song begins at 9:10, h/t Mediaite)

House GOP To Push Ban On All Earmarks This Year

This is good news since over half of the b.s. bailouts and stimuluses that the President signed off on in 2009 after he took office (and haven't really worked, basically made things worse), was full of ear marks and "pork". I think the politicians should write bills and laws as they should be, not filled or marked with useless pet projects for their districts or their own special interests. You serve the people, not donors or your own pockets.

Via: Roll Call

House Republicans on Thursday plan to introduce a resolution to ratchet up the pressure on Democrats to join the GOP in a yearlong earmark ban.

The resolution, authored by Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and backed by House Republican leadership, will express a “sense of the House” that Democrats should implement an earmark moratorium and use the money that it saves to decrease discretionary spending. It will also call for establishment of a bipartisan, bicameral committee that would vet and overhaul “the budgetary, spending and earmark processes.”

Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday encouraged Members to sign on to the measure during a closed-door meeting of the Republican Conference, according to a GOP source inside the meeting.

“It’s time for us to do some offense,” Boehner said, according to the source. “As you know, Americans are deeply concerned about spending — and regardless of where you stand on earmarks, you know Americans see earmarks as a symbol of Washington’s out-of-control spending.”

House Democrats last month barred earmarks benefiting for-profit companies and have implemented other reforms to the earmark process during their tenure in the majority.

As a result, they have rejected Republican calls for a House-wide moratorium as a political ploy.

Boehner spokesman Michael Steel would not say when or whether the Minority Leader may try to force a vote on the resolution.

“Republicans should spend their free time persuading their members to support our permanent ban on for-profit earmarks,” said Doug Thornell, a spokesman for Assistant to the Speaker Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.).

Remember how Liberals beat up Bush over Enron?

Obama got SEVEN TIMES more campaign cash from Goldman Sachs than Bush got from Enron and the entire Obama administration has received TEN TIMES the contributions from those affiliated with Goldman.

Remember how Liberals claimed Bush never worked, that he went on month long vacays and was the laziest President ever?

It turns out that Obama has played more golf in his first year than Bush played for eight years.

And, amazingly, both Barry and Biden (above) have the flexibility in their schedules (while a record number of Americans are out of work) to saunter around to the back of the White House and work on their putting.

Commercial Voice Actor Fired For Insulting Tea Party People

Also a good version of this story here and here

Check out the original article at Notoriously Conservative

Last week, the FreedomWorks press department received a voicemail from a man identifying himself as Lance Baxter. When he is not making creepy harassing calls to groups like FreedomWorks, he is the voice at the end of the Geico commercials. From the Washington Post:

Sometimes you have a headline that makes the rest of the story superfluous, but here's the background. Actor Lance Baxter, otherwise known as "D.C. Douglas," currently known as the man who informs you how much GEICO can save you on car insurance, left a message last month with FreedomWorks in which he asked the group how many "mentally retarded" people it had on staff and what it would do when a tea partyer "killed someone." On April 14, FreedomWorks put his voicemail online.

Those that question Obama's birth certificate, and qualification to be president are often labeled as extremists, birthers, nut jobs or conspiracy theorists. But, it looks like the idea has become more mainstream, as the Arizona State House voted to require that Obama show his birth certificate if he wants to run for reelection in their state. Seems like common sense to me. Candidates should be required to prove their eligibility if they want to be on state ballots.

The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.

The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.

It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.

Airlines' Tab For Volcanic-Ash Losses Soars Over $1 billion

As airline losses from the volcanic ash cloud spiraled over $1 billion on Monday, the industry demanded EU compensation and criticized European governments for relying too much on scientific theory — not fact — in their decisions to shut down airspace across the continent.

Shares of some European airlines fell as flight disruptions from the volcanic cloud moved into a fifth day, and the International Air Transport Association complained of "no leadership" from government leaders — one of whom admitted to EU dissension about how to respond.

"It's embarrassing, and a European mess," IATA CEO Giovanni Bisignani told The Associated Press. "It took five days to organize a conference call with the ministers of transport and we are losing $200 million per day (and) 750,000 passengers are stranded all over. Does it make sense?"

Is it just me or have countries including our own gotten worse at responding to and helping people left behind from natural disasters lately? Send in the military or boats to escort these people out if the skies are unusable. It is embarrassing that these governments haven't responded properly but I also don't think the airlines should be compensated. Everyone wants to be compensated now days, even if it was their fault or not. This is mother nature, shit happens. Deal with it and help these people somehow instead of bickering.
